During this special event players can participate in quest lines and group encounters as they assist Antonius Bayle and preserve the future of Qeynos! Zones include the eerie devastation of the Void, the lush wilderness of Oceangreen and the perilous Temple of Bertoxxulous. Beginning October 7, 2008 seek out the herald of Druzzil Ro in the Plane of Knowledge to be transported to a time rift that leads to the preview content!\n\n- Group Merge Ability: Looking to fill the last few spaces of your group? Groups now have the ability to merge with each other without disbanding from their own group! With this new feature, the group leader of one group can invite the group leader of another group to join his/her group. If the invitation is accepted, the two groups will merge together to form one group. This change merely allows groups to merge without having to make everyone drop out of their current group. All other group functionality should work as it did in the past. It does not increase the six person group maximum for groups.\n\n- Group Window Enhancements: The following changes have been made to improve the Group Window - We've added mana and endurance gauges for group members. We've added a Group Roles infrastructure. When right-clicking on a member of the group, a leader will now have the roles sub-menu for role administration. If currently the leader of a group, right-clicking the player's health / mana / stamina window will also show the same role administration menu. We also added in the /grouproles command. A group role indicator was also added to the Player Info window.\n\n- Target Window Enhancements: The following changes have been made to improve the Target Window - The target window will now display the buffs on target players, pets, and in the future mercenaries. The Inspect Buffs leadership ability is still needed to view NPC buffs. The target's buff timers displays in hours, minutes, seconds. We've added the ability to remove buffs from yourself, your pet, and in the future mercenaries from the target window. The ability to block buffs on you and your pet has also been added to the target window. The Target Window is now resizable.\n\n- More Firiona Vie Character Slots: We've extended the amount of character slots available on the Firiona Vie server to 3 characters.\n\n- Message to Custom UI Users: Due to the amount of changes being made to the user interface with this game update, custom UI users are advised to switch to the default before attempting to log in or if you experience difficulties when logging in.\n\n\n*** Fan Faire Requests ***\nThese changes were made due to some of the feedback received at the 2008 Las Vegas Fan Faire.\n\n-Added the ability for players to target nearest corpse and cycle through the nearest corpses via hotkeys. These will need to be set in the options menu to be used. \n-Increased the range of emotes to match the range of say. \n-Fixed an issue with damage shield mitigation on items. \n-/target will now target the player instead of their familiar, as long as the player is within a reasonable distance of their familiar. \n- We now display all bind points for a player when using /charinfo.\n\n\n*** Spells ***\n\n- A new resurrection spell has been added for Druids and Shaman. Wanderer Astobin and Mystic Abomin in the Plane of Knowledge library have the scroll for sale. The spell returns 90% of a player's lost experience and can only be used while out of combat.\n\n\n*** AA ***\n\n- Removed the group leadership AA Designate Main Assist since this functionality is given to all groups through the new Group Role system. Leadership AAs spent on this ability have been refunded in the form of regular AAs.\n- Certain AA's that added extra riposte chances will no longer cause your non-rogue enemies to backstab you.\n\n\n*** Quest & Events ***\n\n- Monks should no longer get left behind after completing the Seventh Hammer portion of their Epic quest.\n- Paladins should no longer get left behind after completing the Mujaki the Devourer event for their Epic quest.\n\n\n*** Miscellaneous ***\n\n- Items and coin are no longer left on a corpse upon death. The items will remain equipped and in their respective containers.\n- Spells will now remain memorized on a character upon death.\n- Players should now be able to equip items for which they don't meet the required level. In the inventory window, the item will be highlighted in yellow if the required level is not met. No benefits will be granted from this item other than being able to equip it.\n- Added the concept of revive effects. When you respawn, you will receive negative effects for a while to compensate for having all your equipment and spells still memorized.\n- /target will now choose PCs over NPCs when using a partial name.\n- If you have a familiar buff but no familiar, it should no longer destroy any other pets you have when you remove the buff.\n- All classes now keep their familiar buffs when the familiar is killed or dismissed, not just wizards.\n- Fixed a problem with familiars for pet classes. If you have a pet, then summon a familiar, then zone, it will now keep your pet properly with only the familiar buff.\n- Fixed some problems with the muted friends list for voice chat.\n- Corrected a few issues with group and raid management functions.\n- Groups are now somewhat persistent. If you log out and log back in you will still be in your group. Offline players should still be able to be kicked out of groups.\n- Fixed a problem with /hidecorpse looted where the client and zone could get out of sync and keep you from looting for a while after that.\n- Added /hidecorpse npc which works just like /hidecorpse all except it only hides NPC corpses.\n- Drakkin rogues will now sneak at the correct speed when over level 50.\n- Added in Group Roles infrastructure. When right-clicking on a member of the group, a leader will now have the roles sub-menu for role administration. If currently the leader of a group, right-clicking the player's health / mana / stamina window will also show the same role administration menu. Also, added in the /grouproles command. A group role indicator was also added to the Player Info window.\n- Group members in other zones will now be notified when their group member (that previously logged off) logs back in (grey when they're offline, white when they're online). Their name in the group window changes color as indicated for online/offline status.\n\n\n*** Voice Chat ***\n\n- Slash versions of the commands are effective on playername for the channel you are in and only if you are the moderator (raid/guild/group leader)\n- Unban only works via slash command since there the banned player is no longer in the channel and therefore no longer available to click on.\n- /voicechat unban playername\n-Unban only works to unban playername in the channel you are currently in, and only if you are the moderator (raid/guild/group leader)\n\n\n*** UI ***\n\nSeveral changes have been made regarding the design of user interface windows. Some of the changes are noted below:\n\n- The group leader will now be displayed in a different color in the group window and player window. This will work in addition to /groupleader to find out who the group leader is.\n- Updated the pet window to display timers in hours, minutes, seconds like the buff window.\n- \"Caster:\" in the buff info window will now display the user name. Also, if there is no caster information available, the \"Caster:\" line should not appear.\n- Added the ability to click on a group member and target out of zone / link dead group members. Using the function keys by default should also bring up the players in the target window.\n- Invite, follow and disband/decline buttons are no longer required in the group window.\n- Modified the spell gem window to auto-resize based on the number of spell gems activated via Mnemonic Retention.\n- Added the ability when using custom UI's to target out-of-zone group members by clicking on their EQType's gauge.\n- Fixed a bug seen in custom UI's where the spell name in the buff and short term buff windows would be \"Unknown Spell\" when there was no buff in that slot.\n- In the group window, the gauge size can now be used by custom UI modifiers to set the size for gauges instead of having to change the background size.\n\n- New -\n\nEQUI_MercenaryManageWnd.xml\nEQUI_MercenaryInfoWnd.xml\nEQUI_MercenaryMerchantWnd.xml\nEQUI_TopLevelScreens.xml\n\n- Changed -\n\nEQUI.xml\nEQUI_Animations.xml\nEQUI_FriendsWnd.xml\nEQUI_GroupWindow.xml\nEQUI_GuildManagementWnd.xml\nEQUI_OptionsWindow.xml\nEQUI_PlayerWindow.xml\nEQUI_RaidWindow.xml\nEQUI_TargetWindow.xml\nEQUI_BreathWindow.xml\nEQUI_CastingWindow.xml\nEQUI_CombatAbilityWnd.xml\nEQUI_EQMainWnd.xml\nEQUI_CompassWnd.xml\nEQUI_HotButtonWnd.xml\nEQUI_LeadershipWnd.xml\nEQUI_PetInfoWindow.xml\nEQUI_TrainWindow.xml\nEQUI_Inventory.xml\n\n\n- The EverQuest Team","content_hash":"27ade6288903da8300c2d7fb60f4cb6c37ee1ccd25fd4905943555ef06d3e396","source_files":["patches-2008-2.txt","patches_1999-2008_combined.md","patches_1999-2010_combined.txt"],"source_titles":["October 7, 2008"],"source_url":null,"source_urls":[],"occurrence_count":3,"source_occurrences":[{"occurrence_id":"f4a307eba191366d68f14cbc1fd1c41409ba6846d85e82a9e9cf33bccd08147f","filename":"patches_1999-2008_combined.md","adapter":"markdown","source_offset":1044261,"item_index":null,"heading":"October 7, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"markdown","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"844cfc3beb8851d4b4b75da2ddeac7956394d88e895bbc19ed14d8df8f0686d8","filename":"patches_1999-2010_combined.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":1069368,"item_index":null,"heading":"October 7, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"4958f9108a5dc968b799b68561a5d1a50449faa268cdcf7a44e1cc85c58eccad","filename":"patches-2008-2.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":27843,"item_index":null,"heading":"October 7, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false}],"year_inferred":false,"sequence":1,"slug":"2008-10-07-1","id":"2008-10-07-1"},{"patch_date":"2008-09-30","effective_date":"2008-09-30","display_date":"September 30, 2008","title":"September 30, 2008","year":2008,"month":9,"kind":"live","era":"EverQuest Live","expansion":"Secrets of Faydwer","expansion_code":"secrets-of-faydwer","categories":[{"slug":"spells-aa","label":"Spells & AA"},{"slug":"items","label":"Items"},{"slug":"zones-npcs","label":"Zones & NPCs"},{"slug":"ui","label":"UI"},{"slug":"servers","label":"Servers"}],"sections":["Items","Spells","Upcoming UI Changes"],"change_count":5,"word_count":435,"summary":"The Tides of Anachronism All across Norrath and beyond, the boundaries between past and present and between parallel realities seem to be fraying. Our time is very short! Time is ticking and our doom may have arrived! As it passes, time takes with it portions of our lives. Well, your lives. And now it threatens to take all of our lives. Powers of chaos and destruction are taking their time, taking our time! Go quickly, time is so very short.\"\n\nMeanwhile, over in the Dreadlands, a retired scholar named Deckarn Mystglade is seeking someone to help keep him from losing his mind.\n\nA few years back when the Plane of Time was first breached by Norrathian adventurers, Deckarn warned his fellow scholars that interfering with the realm of time would only lead to disaster. After continuously trying to prophesize his unproven theories, he was forcibly requested to retire. Since then, Deckarn has been a bit unsure of anything around him.\n\nOver the past few weeks, Deckarn has been feeling a strange shift in time and began to have visions of epic battles, re-building, corruption, decay, and war. Uncertain of himself, he needs someone to investigate the mysterious occurrences in his visions to confirm that he isn't going insane.\n\nCurious adventurers begin to travel to the Plane of Knowledge and the Dreadlands to hear the rumors first hand.\n\n\n*** Items ***\n\n- The Raging Taelosian Alloy Axe and the Vengeful Taelosian Blood Axe have been modified. The Strike of Savagery effect will no longer have a chance to proc itself. Instead, the duration of the effect has been increased to 1 minute.\n- The tribute value of the mass enchant spells has been adjusted. It is not intended that infinitely purchasable items have a tribute value greater than their platinum cost.\n\n\n*** Spells ***\n\n- Tears of Qandieal and similar spells can now only be cast on NPCs to address a stability issue. The ability to use it against players will return with our next code update.\n\n\n*** Upcoming UI Changes ***\n\n- Message to custom UI users: With the next Game Update, we will be releasing several extensive changes to the User Interface (UI). Some of these changes can currently be found on the Test Server and additional changes may be released throughout the week. Please take a moment to visit the Test Server so that you can prepare ahead of time for these changes.\n\n \n\n- The EverQuest Team","content_hash":"b349698d568cb4a73d8735b011bd72d54c22bbceb6f1f63bbfb14fd953a6215c","source_files":["patches-2008-2.txt","patches_1999-2008_combined.md","patches_1999-2010_combined.txt"],"source_titles":["September 30, 2008"],"source_url":null,"source_urls":[],"occurrence_count":3,"source_occurrences":[{"occurrence_id":"843b62a34273d046eac67e8582f557d867b291c95826e64b59956d1790ec998b","filename":"patches_1999-2008_combined.md","adapter":"markdown","source_offset":1041616,"item_index":null,"heading":"September 30, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"markdown","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"3f11c2f1fb6833bd1801f1228e7099c1b43c2b989006a9df3af82ae7b6bc8aab","filename":"patches_1999-2010_combined.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":1066657,"item_index":null,"heading":"September 30, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"112df45f590aa3143a41d631ebffa99ab74c143f7e04b141e9d99f7cdb41a979","filename":"patches-2008-2.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":25132,"item_index":null,"heading":"September 30, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false}],"year_inferred":false,"sequence":1,"slug":"2008-09-30-1","id":"2008-09-30-1"},{"patch_date":"2008-09-03","effective_date":"2008-09-03","display_date":"September 3, 2008","title":"September 3, 2008","year":2008,"month":9,"kind":"live","era":"EverQuest Live","expansion":"Secrets of Faydwer","expansion_code":"secrets-of-faydwer","categories":[{"slug":"spells-aa","label":"Spells & AA"},{"slug":"items","label":"Items"},{"slug":"zones-npcs","label":"Zones & NPCs"},{"slug":"quests-events","label":"Quests & Events"},{"slug":"ui","label":"UI"},{"slug":"servers","label":"Servers"},{"slug":"audio-graphics","label":"Audio & Graphics"}],"sections":["Highlights","Features at Launch in EverQuest include","Items","Spells","NPC","Quest & Events","Miscellaneous","UI","The /voicechat command offers the following options"],"change_count":19,"word_count":1150,"summary":"Highlights *** Station Voice: Station Voice is a voice chat service powered by Vivox and included with certain SOE game subscriptions. Station Voice allows players to talk person-to-person in-game at no additional cost. Players can go far beyond basic real-time chat with the usual headset and microphone setup that is commonly used today, and will be able to access a suite of voice communication tools.\n\nUpcoming features are scheduled to include voice mail, the ability to receive external calls, and voice fonts to synthesize player voices into in-game character voices. Station Voice will be hosted and managed on the Vivox Network. Game software and headsets sold separately. Station Voice is also present in EverQuest II and Star Wars Galaxies.\n\nFeatures at Launch in EverQuest include:\n\n-- Talk person-to-person in game with any microphone and headset combo. \n-- Chat with your party, guild or any other group in game. \n-- Create automatic channels for guilds, raids and groups. \n-- Play and communicate without worry of a significant increase in game lag. \n-- Manage group/user participation with moderator controls. \n-- Individually mute and set volume per user Create automatic channels for guilds, raids and groups. \n-- Set up easily without the need for separate software, accounts or registration.\n\n(For details on Station Voice see below under the UI changes.)\n\n- Group Merge Ability: Looking to fill the last few spaces of your group? Groups now have the ability to merge with each other without disbanding from their own group!\n\nWith this new feature, the group leader of one group can invite the group leader of another group to join his/her group. All other group functionality should work as it did in the past. It does not increase the six person group maximum for groups.\n\n- Weightless Coinage: Coinage no longer adds to the weight of player characters. Adventurers all across Norrath rejoice... especially monks!\n\n\n*** Items ***\n\n- The spirit of Dain Frostreaver will be very angry if the Ancient Frostreaver or Ancient Longhandled Frostreaver are used by anyone else.\n- The Skullstepper should be usable by any race that includes the classes on it. Really.\n\n*** Spells ***\n\n- Tears of Qandieal returns to its changed state. It now destroys the target's mana and inflicts damage based on the mana destroyed.\n\n\n*** NPC ***\n\n- A recast timer has been placed on the NPC version of Lay on Hands. The player version of this spell is not affected by this change.\n\n\n*** Quest & Events ***\n\n- The Demi-Plane version of Mayong's swipe attack will now properly ignore the top player of his hatelist.\n- The lockout from Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder's event will be 4.5 days from now on.\n\n\n*** Miscellaneous ***\n\n- Guild Banners will again be sustainable with only one guild member in the zone.\n- Weightless Coinage: Coinage no longer adds to the weight of player characters. Adventurers all across Norrath rejoice... especially monks!\n- The timer for returning to the game after going linkdead with a character has been reduced from 3 minutes to 1 minute.\n\n\n*** UI ***\n\n- Station Voice Comes to EverQuest!\n\n- How does it work in EverQuest? -\nTo begin using voice chat, verify the feature is enabled by opening the Option window (Alt+O) and navigating to the Voice tab. This feature will be turned off by default.\n\nDevices: Once Voice Chat is enabled EverQuest will attempt to connect to the correct hardware.\n\nPush-to-talk key: Initially the voice chat system uses Ctrl+Tab as the push-to-talk key. This can be reconfigured to any available key from the Options window, Keys tab.\n\nOutput volume: Master volume for all incoming Voice Chat traffic. This setting is independent of music and sound effect volume settings. Setting this to high results in distortion of incoming speech.\n\nInput volume: The relative sensitivity of your microphone. Turning it up means your microphone picks up quieter sounds. Setting this to high results in distortion of your outgoing speech. The sound indicator gives an estimate of the distortion. Red signifies high distortion, yellow medium distortion and green low distortion.\n\nTesting your setup with Echo channel: The echo channel allows you to get an idea of your settings by broadcasting what you say back to you after a short delay. \n\n- The Voice Bar -\nOnce Voice Chat is enabled and has successfully connected the Voice Bar will automatically be shown. The Voice Bar by default will remain active as long as voice chat is enabled. A hot key may be mapped to open and close the Voice Bar.\n\nThe Voice Bar offers a push to talk button, a list of users of the current channel, what channels are available, a link to Options, and indication of who is currently talking.\n\nThe Talk button is simply a push-to-talk button that is mouse activated instead of keypress activated. \nThe Voice Users button presents a list of the users of the current channel. Clicking on the speaker by any user allows you to adjust the volume of that player relative to your master volume. A particularly loud player can be turned down relative to other voice chat traffic Moderators for a channel are given additional options of muting a player for the entire channel, banning a player from the channel and kicking a player from the channel.\n\nThe channel button pulls down a menu of channels available to you. The currently selected one is shown in green if connected. Red if the connection has failed. Unselected but available channels are shown in white. \n\nVoice chat has been integrated into some other interfaces in the game. Speaker icons show up for players that have voice chat active. The speaker icons behave as they do in the Voice Users window, giving access to Voice Chat options specific to that player.\n\nThere is currently an issue with leaving a private channel making you unable to invite someone to a new private channel. We are working on resolving this issue, but until then, logging out and back in should clear your channel status.\n\n- Using the /voicechat Command -\nThe /voicechat command offers the following options:\n\n-- on: activate voice chat (ex. /voicechat on) \n-- off: deactivate voice chat \n-- Moderator Controls: \n-Mute <player> - mutes a player for everyone in the current channel\n-Unmute <player>- unmutes a player for everyone in the current channel\n-Kick <player>- kicks a player form the current channel\n-Ban <player> - bans a player from the current channel and kicks them if they are present\n-Unban <player> - unbans a player from current channel\n\n\n- New -\n\nEQUI_VoiceActionBarWnd.xml\nEQUI_VoiceNoticeWnd.xml\nEQUI_TopLevelScreens.xml\nVChat.tga\n\n- Changed -\n\nEQUI.xml\nEQUI_Animations.xml\nEQUI_FriendsWnd.xml\nEQUI_GroupWindow.xml\nEQUI_GuildManagementWnd.xml\nEQUI_OptionsWindow.xml\nEQUI_PlayerWindow.xml\nEQUI_RaidWindow.xml\nSIDL.xml\n\n\n- The EverQuest Team","content_hash":"54b11bc89f66338ebd56db7cc7531898a4b5604bbbb969d7f440f2f894030c28","source_files":["patches-2008-2.txt","patches_1999-2008_combined.md","patches_1999-2010_combined.txt"],"source_titles":["September 3, 2008"],"source_url":null,"source_urls":[],"occurrence_count":3,"source_occurrences":[{"occurrence_id":"be1a1db450f15f70d539c765c4c89e8f0cb92d8f5064aaeb8afe4f4f9429dd3a","filename":"patches_1999-2008_combined.md","adapter":"markdown","source_offset":1034519,"item_index":null,"heading":"September 3, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"markdown","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"ec5cf8aa90c3c1cc785e8153cf6664adc5fdefb070951767ebd7d35c3152f073","filename":"patches_1999-2010_combined.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":1059494,"item_index":null,"heading":"September 3, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"8e6c29676f8128e3ea8c0a74fd14756f238ceed8e9cdfd467f0657e122337f64","filename":"patches-2008-2.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":17969,"item_index":null,"heading":"September 3, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false}],"year_inferred":false,"sequence":1,"slug":"2008-09-03-1","id":"2008-09-03-1"},{"patch_date":"2008-08-20","effective_date":"2008-08-20","display_date":"August 20, 2008","title":"August 20, 2008","year":2008,"month":8,"kind":"live","era":"EverQuest Live","expansion":"Secrets of Faydwer","expansion_code":"secrets-of-faydwer","categories":[{"slug":"bug-fixes","label":"Bug Fixes"},{"slug":"classes","label":"Classes"},{"slug":"spells-aa","label":"Spells & AA"},{"slug":"items","label":"Items"},{"slug":"zones-npcs","label":"Zones & NPCs"},{"slug":"quests-events","label":"Quests & Events"},{"slug":"tradeskills","label":"Tradeskills"},{"slug":"ui","label":"UI"},{"slug":"expansions","label":"Expansions"}],"sections":["Highlights","Items","Quests & Events","NPC","Spells","Tradeskills","Tasks","Zones","Previously Updated"],"change_count":46,"word_count":1172,"summary":"Highlights *** New Hot Zones: Franklin Teek has arrived in the Plane of Knowledge and will be happy to point you to the current location of a Hot Zone appropriate for your level. See Fenden Helter in the Ladies of the Light tower for more information. These tasks include various Secrets of Faydwer faction rewards as well as a new currency that can be used to purchase items from Fenden. \n\n- The spell information window has been changed. For buffs that are on you or your pet, you will be able to see the name of the caster, the full duration of the spell, the level required to cast the spell, the skill required to cast the spell, the mana cost of the spell, and the spell description. Non existing buff based spells will display the total duration of the spell in a new format, hours, minutes, and seconds.\n\n- New visual indicators have been added to the buff window icons, and short duration buff window icons. Additionally, the spell counter information has been moved to facilitate the visual display of the buff timer on the respective buff icon. There have been four pieces of visual information added to the buff icons. This includes a visual indicator to show each of four possible pieces of information. The new pieces of information are Buff Timer, Buff Counters, Song Timer, and Song Counters. \n\n- With the description changes added, all relevant counter information for BARD songs, all short duration effects, and regular buffs in either the spell window buff icon or short duration buff icon respectively will also be displayed. \n\n- The buff icon will now display the time remaining in the form of hours (h), minutes (m), or seconds (s) whichever is greater. This significantly reduces the amount physical space used on the icon to print out the remaining time, in effect showing more of the buff or short duration buff icon to the print out the remaining time, in effect showing more of the buff or short duration buff icon to the player. \n\n- Several NPCS in the Barren Coast, The Buried Sea, Attiki, Katta Castrum, and Goru'kar Mesa have been lowered in difficulty to help facilitate easier soloing for many players. These NPCs will have a special consider message to indicate they are easier than your average NPC. \n\n*** Returning Players *** \n\n- If you're returning to the game following a break, be sure to visit the Scholars in the northeast portion of the Plane of Knowledge. They can help guide you through the many changes to the land of Norrath over the years. \n\n*** Items *** \n\n- Fixed some typographical errors in a few instruction manuals. \n- Ornament Mutation Tools are now available for purchase from Magus Alaria in the Guild Lobby. They can be used to permanently change Ornament items into single use Ornamentation containers. \n- Secrets of Faydwer monk armor will now have the special monk appearance. Armor that monks share with other classes was unchanged. \n- Added Battlerager's Strength to SoF Raid Tier 3 and 4 Berserker Class Gloves. \n- Changed the colors on the Bridles of the Commanded and Ferocious Ferans to match the image on their cards. \n\n*** Quests & Events *** \n\n- A series of quests have been created within and around the Secrets of Faydwer expansion. See Fenden Helter in the Ladies of the Light tower for more information. These tasks include various Secrets of Faydwer faction rewards as well as a new currency that can be used to purchase items from Fenden. \n- The bears in Wulfnor the Gladiator's event in Frostcrypt will once again look like bears. \n- Eron in the Dragonscale Hills has figured a slightly better method for making spools of energized brownie hair. You can now make it if the denizens of the zone are nearby. It still requires that you be by the specific energy charge within the main power room, and not any of the auxiliary power rooms. Be aware that being in the energy charge is painful and not compatible with invisibility or stealth. This new method will also not work if you are lying down. You will not need to go back to him to get the new method, as he has communicated it to everyone. \n\n*** NPC *** \n\n- Brinda's assistant, Findlewill, has returned from a restful vacation and can now be found in the Mansion. \n- Several golems have had their body type switched to Construct. \n- Fixed several minor text errors on various NPCs. \n- Several NPCS in the Barren Coast, The Buried Sea, Attiki, Katta Castrum, and Goru'kar Mesa have been lowered in difficulty to help facilitate easier soloing for many players. These NPCs will have a special consider message to indicate they are easier than your average NPC. \n\n*** Spells *** \n\n- Made a change to all spells and abilities that use Fade-like functionality to no longer kill your pets, auras and familiars when the Fade-like ability is used.- Fixed an issue causing negative focus effects to not function correctly (sorry!)- With the changes made for displaying the spell decriptions, there may be some NPC spells that display incorrect data. We will be adjusting these descriptions at a later time. The description shoud not affect gameplay.- The shadowknight Decrepit Skin line, paladin Ward of Tunare spell line, and druid Skin of the Reptitle spell line have been adjusted.- Upon death, Divine Arbitration should no longer split the influence to the group members.- Shaman spell Ancestral Intervention and the druid spell Survival of the Fittest should be able to produce a crit again. \n\n*** Tradeskills *** \n\n- NPC pricing of powersources have been altered. \n\n*** Tasks *** \n\n- Fixed one of the chests in the Uncovered Treasure task that was spawning under the world. \n- Fixed various issues in the new Secrets of Faydwer tasks that start with Fenden Helter in Dragonscale Hills. \n\n*** AA *** \n\n- Changes have been made to the Harm Touch ability for Shadow Knights. The Ranks of Harm Touch that are purchased via AA points (and not automatically granted) will now have an immediate amount of damage as well as a Damage Over Time component. The Damage Over Time component is in addition to the damage that Harm Touch previously did. The Damage Over Time will scale along with the maximum value of the instant damage for each rank. \n- Increased the duration of Pact of the Wurine AA. \n- A number of AA lines that had a previously meaningless recast delay have been changed to have no recast delay. This is to address larger-than-intended returns on Heal Amount mods being applied due to how the calculations for those spells work. The AA lines changed include: Act of Valor, Hand of Piety, Lay on Hands, Mend Companion, Rejuvenate Companion, Replenish Companion, and Touch of the Divine. \n\n*** Zones *** \n\n- We've adjusted the fog settings in all zones to allow for better visibility.- Adjusted pathing around the Goblin huts in the Buried Sea. \n\n*** Miscellaneous *** \n\n- More fixes for corpse looting problems when using /hidecorpse looted.- Added the Background FPS slider to the Options->Display window. Allows setting the frame rate for the EQ window when it is not the foreground window. Sliding all the way to the left (the default) will use \"Min. CPU\" mode. Increasing this above \"Min. CPU\" can improve auto-follow behavior when the client is not in the foreground.- 'alpha' and 'ralpha' added to /tracksort command.- Added new SoF stats to the bazaar search options.- Fixed a problem causing a client disconnect when consuming or using the last item in a stack.- Made an optimization that will slightly improve lag in loping plains. This is not a full fix.- Changed the way CPU affinity assignment works so that when you have multiple clients running and exit one and restart it, you still get correct distribution of CPU assignment. Previously, this could cause both clients to be assigned to the same CPU. \n\n*** User interface *** \n\n- Moved the Max FPS and Max background FPS sliders to the advanced display options window.- The spell information window has been changed. For buffs that are on you or your pet, you will be able to see the name of the caster, the full duration of the spell, the level required to cast the spell, the skill required to cast the spell, the mana cost of the spell, and the spell description. Non existing buff based spells will display the total duration of the spell in a new format, hours, minutes, and seconds. \n- New visual indicators have been added to the buff window icons, and short duration buff window icons. This significantly reduces the amount physical space used on the icon to print out the remaining time, in effect showing more of the buff or short duration buff icon to the print out the remaining time, in effect showing more of the buff or short duration buff icon to the player. \n\n- Changed - \nEQUI_AdvancedDisplayOptionsWnd.xmlEQUI_OptionsWindow.xml \n\n- The EverQuest Team","content_hash":"c4c2d0ee188d4324fa047914ed6d6493e5a107faba4a44a0d379c9d2f56a0640","source_files":["patches-2008-2.txt","patches_1999-2008_combined.md","patches_1999-2010_combined.txt"],"source_titles":["July 9, 2008"],"source_url":null,"source_urls":[],"occurrence_count":3,"source_occurrences":[{"occurrence_id":"71a591bff0071245275ad0284d1517c65438942d42d3e81fcb08f358d5ed1a95","filename":"patches_1999-2008_combined.md","adapter":"markdown","source_offset":1016899,"item_index":null,"heading":"July 9, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"markdown","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"511b77ef7d9a70d2c21733f5c3f6b15444a6e1e2b90f1335c28f456a01152c81","filename":"patches_1999-2010_combined.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":1041676,"item_index":null,"heading":"July 9, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"eae736d688c433cb2821bcaed9dd2e874b37cc2edc625cf6d723aba50efe1286","filename":"patches-2008-2.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":151,"item_index":null,"heading":"July 9, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false}],"year_inferred":false,"sequence":1,"slug":"2008-07-09-1","id":"2008-07-09-1"},{"patch_date":"2008-06-19","effective_date":"2008-06-19","display_date":"June 19, 2008","title":"June 19, 2008","year":2008,"month":6,"kind":"live","era":"EverQuest Live","expansion":"Secrets of Faydwer","expansion_code":"secrets-of-faydwer","categories":[{"slug":"bug-fixes","label":"Bug Fixes"},{"slug":"items","label":"Items"},{"slug":"zones-npcs","label":"Zones & NPCs"},{"slug":"quests-events","label":"Quests & Events"}],"sections":["Here is the patch message from today","Items","Quests and Events","Tasks","NPC","Hotfix"],"change_count":9,"word_count":132,"summary":"Here is the patch message from today: Items *** Scorpion sandwiches no longer have a weapon delay on them. This does not change their actual use as trade skill containers do not pay attention to the recommended and required levels of items put in them.\n- Added a set of new vendors that sell many of the spell research components. The cost of these have been adjusted so that they sell to an NPC closer to the price it cost to make them, but merchants will sell them at a premium.  This means that you can save money while gaining skill. Also when you make spell combines you can choose between saving money, or saving time. You save money by making the sub-combines yourself, you save time by buying them.\n- Chromatic focus is now available for slot 12 augments for Cultural armor.\n- The engineer steamworks that work within the guardian have developed devices that help them move within the beast. They were generating considerably more hate than they should and have been returned to their previous, lower hate generation.\n- Zone-wide /who commands now use a similar code path to server wide /who all commands.  Note that this will impose a similar time limit to how often it can be used.\n- The bobbing effect of levitation has been removed. This is something that has been requested by players since the inception of the game, but has only recently become possible due to changes that have been made in how characters are stored.\n\n\n\nIn order to make the use of this feature as simple as possible and to allow you to request this service without leaving the game, we have added NPCs to every static (non-instanced) zone in the game that listen for the key phrase “I want to be a ”.  All you have to do is shout your request to the zone and when the NPC hears the key phrase, they will add your request to the processing queue.  The NPCs do not currently have a way to respond to requests via the shout command, so you won’t get a response to your request.   This is something we plan to add to the system later, but we didn’t want to hold up the release of this service.\n\nFor example, if you have a female character and want to request a change to a male character, you would issue the following command:\n\n“/shout I want to be a man”  (note: “I want to be a boy” and “I want to be a male” will also work)\n\nThe service can take compound requests which include a change to both your race and gender.  If you wanted to change your character into a female iksar, for instance, you would issue the following command:\n\n“/shout I want to be a female iksar”\n\nBecause we are anticipating a large amount of interest in this feature and wish to prevent possible performance problems that might occur, the servers are being limited to processing only a certain number of requests at a time and each character will only be allowed to change one time.  Once your character has been changed, subsequent requests will be ignored.  During heavy request times, it may take up to 24 hours before your request is processed. He'll keep track of how many tokens are on your character and ask you to log in other characters on the same account that have also turned in tokens. You can repeat this as many times as needed to accumulate enough tokens total to earn a beta reward for your account.\n\n\n*** UI ***\n\n- Changed -\n\nEQUI_DynamicZoneWnd\n\n\n*** Miscellaneous ***\n\n- Added default height sizes to many of the illusions in the game. This does not alter how they work, it just clarifies the abilities.\n- Moved recommended level from the gems to the metals in the new jewelry. With this change, moving the expensive gems to other metals will yield better results if you are below the recommended level.\n- Fixed the spelling of Runed Scroll of Pestilence.\n- Changed the weight of the spell research kit to 4.0.\n- Removed fire focus effects from SoF Shadowknight armor and cold focus effects from SoF Necromancer armor due to their limited utility for those classes.\n- The clockwork key is no longer tradable on the Firiona Vie server.\n*** Spells ***\n\n- Wearing an item with the Servitor of Scale focus will now work correctly while also wearing an item with the Spire Servant focus.\n\n*** Quests & Events ***\n\n- Made a change to the Bargangle fight that should prevent him from staying hidden inside his bedroom. Called him a coward a few times, that seems to have riled him up.\n- Slightly changed the way Breakneck spawns in Meldrath's Mansion. He spawns off different doors. These doors are less spread out across the zone. Areas where he can't be spawned and that have no bearing on the raids in the zone have been locked off.\n- Charming Tiny Tops now stunts their growth. But they become resistant to charm much younger these days.\n- A humongous ice golem named Avalanche has been spotted in Icefall, terrorizing the Wraithguard.\n\n*** NPC ***\n\n- The casino now gives out the new stackable illusion potions. Additionally the elixir will now stack.\n- The Wyvern trios in Crystallos will now summon when they are low on health.\n- Increased the experience given by the Golems in Crystallos.\n- Slowed down the re-spawn in Gyrospire Zeka 11%, and Gyrospire Beza 22%.\n\n*** Tasks ***\n\n- The \"Gathering the Essence\" lines in Crystallos have been changed so you can collect the items before you accept the task and still get credit for them.\n- Altered a few of the tradeskill trophy tasks to use some slightly less annoying steps. Pottery will make Fine Shaped Potion Vial's instead of Bola Weights.  Tailoring will replace Etched Scale Stock Whip with Rough Leather Gorget Template, Concussive Bola with Pristine Leather Tunic Template, and Robe of Haunted Dreams with Fine Silk Robe Template. Tinkering will also replace the Steam-Powered Piston with a Collapsed Gnomish Recharge Kit.\n\n*** AA ***\n\n- Added additional ranks to Elemental Fury (Magician) and Quickening of Death (Necromancer) AA lines.\n\n*** Zones ***\n\n- Elevator music now plays in the Mansion elevators. The sound soothes the inhabitants and they should be less likely to attack folks that are just riding up or down.\n\n*** Previously Updated ***\n\n- Realnyna in Crescent reach will now respond to hails.\n- Fixed a bug that could cause the Last Stand Into Eternity task to fail to trigger properly.\n- It is no longer necessary to be in a raid to get the chest to drop off of the \"Breaking Walls\" events in Devastation.\n\n\n\n- The EverQuest Team","content_hash":"cec7f68b92e4ad2cb431e96ba5b7b88ac01ebc43d0fdfb606069d36cfb75fb67","source_files":["patches-2008-1.txt","patches_1999-2008_combined.md","patches_1999-2010_combined.txt"],"source_titles":["February 6, 2008"],"source_url":null,"source_urls":[],"occurrence_count":3,"source_occurrences":[{"occurrence_id":"4977fc16025fdf70a0032deae275bdf7ac17915ffb14a045413697f3fc4f0028","filename":"patches_1999-2008_combined.md","adapter":"markdown","source_offset":980537,"item_index":null,"heading":"February 6, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"markdown","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"268eee3ef1ff87118ee92f32922a56c7cefc304d9b04d72a6d6503ce016de315","filename":"patches_1999-2010_combined.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":1004324,"item_index":null,"heading":"February 6, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"90ae94e2dfa40b5598b401d5449d3e6cc10f5ee6ab3705aa709f3edc51075912","filename":"patches-2008-1.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":9176,"item_index":null,"heading":"February 6, 2008","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false}],"year_inferred":false,"sequence":1,"slug":"2008-02-06-1","id":"2008-02-06-1"},{"patch_date":"2008-01-16","effective_date":"2008-01-16","display_date":"January 16, 2008","title":"January 16, 2008","year":2008,"month":1,"kind":"live","era":"EverQuest Live","expansion":"Secrets of Faydwer","expansion_code":"secrets-of-faydwer","categories":[{"slug":"bug-fixes","label":"Bug Fixes"},{"slug":"classes","label":"Classes"},{"slug":"spells-aa","label":"Spells & AA"},{"slug":"items","label":"Items"},{"slug":"zones-npcs","label":"Zones & NPCs"},{"slug":"quests-events","label":"Quests & Events"},{"slug":"tradeskills","label":"Tradeskills"},{"slug":"ui","label":"UI"},{"slug":"servers","label":"Servers"},{"slug":"audio-graphics","label":"Audio & Graphics"},{"slug":"expansions","label":"Expansions"}],"sections":["Today's patch message","Highlights","Items","Quests & Events","Spells","NPC","Tradekills","Tasks","AA","Miscellaneous","Previously Updated"],"change_count":78,"word_count":1544,"summary":"Today's patch message: Loot All has been changed to help resolve some client disconnect/corpse loss issues. This will cause the loot all to be slower than it was previously. When stability is improved, we will take a look at speeding it back up again. \n\n*** Highlights ***\n- The beta reward item for players who participated in the Secrets of Faydwer beta test is now available.  Anyone who turned in at least 50 beta tokens (or a single raid token) can speak to Old Man Thorren in Plane of Knowledge on the beta server and request your reward.  This will then allow you to use the /claim system to claim the reward item, the Golden Mask of the Goblin King, on the character and server of your choice.\n\n*** Items ***\n\n- Made some slight changes to the rare group items in SoF.\n- Changed the recast group on items with Geomantra to avoid interference with items that have no recast timer.\n- Added a required level to the Bulwark of Many Portals.\n- Added Augment Sockets to Elegant Crystalskin Sleeves.\n- Changed the name of the Moray Eel from the Buried Sea to Barren Moray Eel.\n- Cultural augments (seals and symbols) will now only fit in armor.\n- Elegant Charms have had an additional upgrade in their stats.\n- Many potions that had a different required level than the required level for the spell have been changed to have the item required level match the spell required level. Please note that this may or may not be modified before the servers officially open back up on Launch Day.\n*** Secrets of Faydwer ***\n\nWelcome to EverQuest Secrets of Faydwer, the 14th expansion for EverQuest!\n\nThe clockwork armies of the evil gnomish necromancer Meldrath the Malignant gather in the Steamfont Mountains, awaiting his order to invade the kingdom of Ak'Anon. The launch of his great air fortress Mechanotus has torn open the earth, exposing new paths into unexplored regions of the ancient continent of Faydwer.\n\nRediscover Faydwer as you adventure in the nearby Loping Plains, home to the soul eating wereorcs of Bloodmoon Keep. Strive to end the torment of humans and elves cursed for centuries in the Hills of Shade. All the while, an ancient menace stirs east of the Dragonscale Hills, where the prismatic dragon Kerafyrm the Awakened plans his revenge.\n\n- Level Cap Increase: Players can now achieve level 80. New high level item sets, new Alternate Advancement ability lines, and new spells will come with this increase, including a new AA that grants a new spell slot.\n\n- Heroic Items: One aspect of player power is based on the seven physical and mental attributes of their characters: Agility, Charisma, Dexterity, Intelligence, Stamina, Strength, and Wisdom.  For player characters that have reached the maximums for these attributes, equipping normal items with increased attributes offers no benefit.  Heroic Items feature particular stats that allow players to go beyond those maximums.  For each point in a heroic stat, the player gains one point in the statistic and the maximum on that statistic is increased by one point.  In addition, heroic stats offer benefits beyond the normal statistics.\n- Heroic Intelligence: Increases mana pool, mana regen, and the maximum amount of mana regen a character can have.\n- Heroic Strength: Increases endurance pool, endurance regen, and the maximum amount of endurance regen a character can have.  Also increases damage done by melee attacks and improves the bonus granted to armor class while using a shield.\n- Heroic Stamina: Increases hit point pool, hit point regen, and the maximum amount of hit point regen a character can have.  Also increases endurance pool, endurance regen, and the maximum amount of endurance regen a character can have.\n- Heroic Agility: Increases endurance pool, endurance regen, and the maximum amount of  endurance regen a character can have.  Also increases the chance to dodge an attack, grants a bonus to defense skill, and reduces falling damage.\n- Heroic Dexterity: Increases endurance pool, endurance regen, and the maximum amount of endurance regen a character can have.  Also increases damage done by ranged attacks, improves chance to successfully assassinate or headshot, and improves the chance to riposte, block, and parry incoming attacks.\n- Heroic Charisma: Improves reaction rolls with some NPCs and increases the amount of faction you gain or lose when faction is adjusted.\n\n- New Content: There are 15 new realms for adventurers to explore including Meldrath's maniacal Fortress Mechanotus, the Dragonscale Hills, the Loping Plains, and Kerafyrm's Lair: Crystallos. Travel through Faydwer solo or with groups to complete new quests, tasks, events, and raids and to acquire new items, spells, tradeskill recipes, abilities, and more.\n\n\n*** Live Highlights ***\n\n- Book of Legends: The Book of Legends, a tome that holds the record of those who have come together to celebrate EverQuest at the SOE Fan Faires, now lives in the library within Plane of Knowledge.\n\n- New Loot All Options: \"Loot All\" functionality has been added to corpses. This includes a \"Loot All\" button on the loot window and the ability to shift-right-click loot a corpse.\n\n- AC Mitigation Improvements: We modified the AC Caps and over-cap returns for mitigation for all classes to bring them more in line with their intended ability to mitigate damage. Warriors, Paladins, Shadowknights, Clerics, and Monks received a minor increase in their mitigation ability. Rangers, Bards, Rogues, Shaman, Beastlords, and Berserkers received a moderate increase in their mitigation ability. Druids, Necromancers, Wizards, Enchanters, and Magicians received a considerable increase in their mitigation ability.\n\n- Fog Rendering System Enhancements: An entirely new fog rendering system has been implemented in the EverQuest graphics engine. This new system is used in all zones that currently have fog.\n\n- Multi-core CPU Support: If you have a Multi-core CPU you no longer have to manually set their processor affinity! EverQuest will automatically assign itself to an available core. If you run multiple copies of the client, each new copy running will assign itself to the next available core. Those interested in customizing which core or cores EverQuest clients run on, check the forums.\n\n\n*** Recently Reported Issues ***\n\nWhile some of the other issues that were resolved in this update were reported via bug reports, here are a few we'd like to highlight.\n\nIssue: West Display Bug\nSummary: When you face west the video geometry disappears except the UI and the Sky. When you face another direction the issue goes away. Normally this is only fixed by doing a reboot of your PC or reloading EQ.\nStatus:  We have made a change that should reduce the chances of the \"west bug\" occurring; unfortunately the change requires us to turn off some optimizations. If you want to disable this workaround, please add the following line to your eqclient.ini: DisableWestBugFix=1 (The EQ team would like to thank Community Member Strommmm for his feedback on helping us with this issue.)\n\nIssue: Solteris Instability\nSummary: Some people have reported that the Solteris raid zone continuously crashes during raids.\nStatus: Optimizations have been put in place to improve stability. We will continue to monitor the status of this zone and other instanced zones.\n\n\n*** Items ***\n\n- Prestidigitase, Staurolite, Harmonagate and Taaffeite have been modified to work in the new jewelcraft system. They will also continue to work in their original fashion if you prefer the jewelry made that way.\n\n\n*** Spells ***\n\n- Lesser Summon Corpse, Summon Corpse, Conjure Corpse, and Exhumer's Call have had their scribe-levels lowered for shadowknights.\n- The Bewilderment line now has an improved resistance modifier.\n- Player animations when using various AE spells and combat abilities now display properly.\n- The protection granted from Shielding Thunder now stacks with Weapon Shield Discipline.\n- The Consecrate Ground line now has a chance to root undead NPCs that enter the aura's area of effect.\n- Recast timers on many mage summon item spells such as the Phantom Armor line, Aenda's Trinkets line, and Armaments line were removed.\n- Necromancer pet haste now bestows strength and a damage mod.  Upgrades to the line should be improvements under all situations.\n- NPC casters will no longer auto-learn Dispel-type player spells.  \n- The Decrepit Skin, Ward of Tunare, and Skin of the Reptile lines are now limited by the number of heals / runes bestowed to the buffed player instead of number of hits scored against the buffed player.  The number of \"procs\" should be relatively the same, but no longer random.  These spells will scale down in effectiveness against lower level NPCs.\n- AE spells that use conical or beam areas of effect now have a hit limit of 8 targets.\n- The cleric group complete healing spell \"Word of Redemption\" now mimics Complete Heal in that it heals for 7500 and cannot be focused.\n- Single-target fire, ice, and magic instant cast spells from TSS and SoF now share the same recast timer.  The recast delay on Cloudburst has been decreased so it can be chained.  The Cloudburst line is now more damaging but less efficient than the - Flashfires and Cold Snap lines.  Recourses from these instant cast spells now bestow a short-duration buff that applies a damage increase to the next spell with a 3 second cast time or more.  Most other wizard direct damage spells have had their cast times nearly halved and had this time applied to the reuse delay, allowing the use of 2-3 direct damage spells in the time that would previously be required to cast one.\n\n\n*** Tradeskills ***\n\n- There is a new level 80 cultural armor set for all races and level 75 and 80 cultural symbol sets. New quests can be found for level 75 and level 80 quests.  Additionally there are new cultural raid augments to go with the cultural armor for the Serpent's Spine, the Buried Sea, and Secrets of Faydwer.\n- Jewelry Making has evolved to a new method. Now jewelry makers will make base pieces of jewelry and gems that can be put in this jewelry for different effects.  This will allow people to get jewelry customized for their needs. \n- Practitioners of spell research will no longer need to use runes, words and pages.  Instead, they can use the systematic spell research system to make all spells previously made with these materials.\n- Within one of the newly discovered areas of Faydwer you will be able to find a gnome who wants a measure of revenge.\n- A discovery has been made and now Gem Studded Chains are less difficult to make.\n\n\n*** AA ***\n\n- Harm Touch and Lay on Hands have been reworked. Changes to how these abilities work will enable us to more easily adjust and tune these abilities. The primary change you will notice is that both of these abilities have been changed from innate skills to the AA system. For the first 10 ranks of these new AAs you will automatically gain the next rank as you level up - you won't need to purchase the AAs. Starting at level 51 you can continue to increase the power of your ability by purchasing new ranks of AAs. These roughly correspond to some of the previous AAs that existed for either ability.\n\nAll previous functionality for these abilities has been turned off. All AAs based on focusing these abilities have either been refunded and replaced with new AAs or have been modified to work with the new abilities.\n\n- Refunded the Harm Touch AAs as part of the changes to how Harm Touch operates.\n- Refunded the AA \"Improved Lay on Hands\" as part of the changes to how Lay on Hands functions.\n- Corrected an issue with the Flurry line of AA's that was causing them to trigger up to 94 percent of the time on a successful triple-attack, instead of up to the intended 30 percent.\n\n\n*** Zones ***\n\n- Fixed an issue with Halls of Honor where NPCs were dropping the incorrect item for the Hot Zone quests.\n\n\n*** UI ***\n\n- Corrected a few typos and errors with a few of the UI windows.\n- Added \"Claims\" option to the EQ menu button which toggles the Claim Window.\n- Made a few minor adjustments to the claims window.\n- Added a slider/ctrl to loot slots with stacks. Shift-/Ctrl- semantics work with this functionality.\n\n- Changed -\n\nEQUI.xml\nEQUI_LayoutCopyWnd.xml\nEQUI_ClaimWnd.xml\nEQUI_OptionsWindow.xml\nEQUI_MailWindow.xml\nEQUI_LootWnd.xml\nEQUI_LeadershipWnd.xml\nEQUI_GuildManagementWnd.xml\nEQUI_TributeBenefitWnd.xml\nEQUI_Animations.xml\nEQUI_VideoModesWnd.xml\n\n\n*** Miscellaneous ***\n\n- Zoning to Toxxulia no longer puts player in Antonica chat channel.\n\n\n\n- The EverQuest Team","content_hash":"c9ae78d5049bff878068d59f10d56759987a750d26ef9a28cab500474b213886","source_files":["patches-2007-2.txt","patches_1999-2008_combined.md","patches_1999-2010_combined.txt"],"source_titles":["November 13, 2007"],"source_url":null,"source_urls":[],"occurrence_count":3,"source_occurrences":[{"occurrence_id":"d6bed7c8751b95985f35a9f79d0c986b98cd30f9c4e5eb8944d567046512c783","filename":"patches_1999-2008_combined.md","adapter":"markdown","source_offset":946749,"item_index":null,"heading":"November 13, 2007","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"markdown","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"ea67676abe3b17b08e6c154fa8513cde0751f203ce1d44a9c0e26a99fd57a637","filename":"patches_1999-2010_combined.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":970206,"item_index":null,"heading":"November 13, 2007","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false},{"occurrence_id":"c97c3effd3b4ffb07caaced84a2c08c597cdea0b1084da30916f431263ae0399","filename":"patches-2007-2.txt","adapter":"text","source_offset":29137,"item_index":null,"heading":"November 13, 2007","source_url":null,"source_url_raw":null,"published":null,"source_kind":"text","excerpt":false,"year_inferred":false}],"year_inferred":false,"sequence":1,"slug":"2007-11-13-1","id":"2007-11-13-1"}]}
